The Seismics are a four-piece instrumental surf band from Ocean Beach, San Francisco. The band formed in 2016 and plays over 4 hours of live music from 60+ classic surf instrumental covers to originals. They mostly play locally in the Bay Area at jazz clubs, yacht clubs, dive bars, tiki bars, art shows, car shows, swap meets, meet and greets, block parties, beach parties, deck parties and so on. 

The band just released their debut album, "Lost Summer" out now on all streaming services and vinyl. Listen now! They also have another EP written and ready to record with all new songs. Stay Tuned.

The Seismics are 'Lost Jonny' Mojeske (lead/rhythm guitar, baritone), Jack McDonell (lead/rhythm guitar), Mike Johnson (bass), and Talbott Guthrie (drums/percussion).

The band formed during a psychedelic trip at a country show in Texas and the band name appeared in a vision of San Francisco having an earthquake caused by sound waves. They play gigs between 1 and 11 on the Richter scale, depending on what the event calls for. Jon lives a block from the ocean and Jack lives on a sailboat on a dock. They both grew up in California and live the lifestyle from surf boards to skateboards to motorcycles and scooters, and like... all that other stuff, man! The Seismics are the vintage modern California sound.
